Flint Hills Resources is a Wichita, Kansas based refining company that is wholly owned by Koch Industries, Inc.

For more than a decade, Ketner Group has worked with the company's Texas operations, headquartered in Corpus Christi, to develop community relations campaigns that include advertising, events and public relations. A highlight of the working relationship is the annual "Visionarios" Youth Art Contest. Working in partnership with Flint Hills Resources and the Art Museum of South Texas, Ketner Group played a key role in the creation of the art contest, which has operated for over seven successful years and attracts more than 500 entries annually from students in grades 1-12. Visionarios promotes academic achievement, literacy, community involvement and understanding in addition to artistic proficiency.

Ketner Group provides a range of services to Flint Hills Resources for the Visionarios program, including event strategy, planning and management; media relations and community outreach; and branding, advertising and collateral for the annual event. Ketner Group has successfully secured local Corpus Christi television news and print media coverage for the Visionarios program.

Ketner Group has also worked with Flint Hills Resources to create branding campaigns for the company's South Texas operations, and supports Flint Hills' work with other community organizations, including the Texas State Aquarium.
